Bolton-le-Moors Car Club held the 36th running of the Neil Howard Stages at Oulton Park on the 4th November 2023, with Salford Van Hire returning as event sponsor and 55 miles stage miles. Club members Lucy Wilding and Lilia Innes teamed up for Lucy's first event behind the wheel and only Lilia's second ever event!
The crew were seeded car 86 in their Vauxhall Nova and reported difficult driving conditions in heavy rain with two spins on stage one which cost them 50 seconds. After a good second stage, the crew were held on stage three as marshals recovered a crew who had gone off the road costing them more time. The remainder of the day was spent having some fun and gaining experience with the crew reporting no further problems to finish 66th overall and 6th in class.
